At Host & Gather Event Co., our pricing is designed to be transparent and all-inclusive when it comes to service.

The flat service fee covers everything required to professionally execute your bar experience — including two bartenders, bar rental, labour, transportation, delivery, setup, and breakdown. This fee encompasses all aspects of service, ensuring your event runs seamlessly from start to finish.

The per-guest rate covers the open bar experience for each individual guest for the duration of your event. For example, with our Tier 3 option at $6 per guest, that guest may enjoy unlimited cocktails* during the 3-hour service window.

This per-guest investment includes all beverage essentials: fresh produce, premium mixers, house-made purées, garnishes, cups, straws, ice, napkins, and everything required to craft each drink beautifully.

For an added personalized touch, we also offer custom napkins and other branded details to elevate your event even further.

Hosting-Only Service

For events where you already have everything in place and simply need an extra set of professional hands, we offer hosting-only services. This package includes a dedicated Host & Gather team member to assist with greeting guests, serving food, clearing plates, refreshing drinks, light preparation, and cleanup.

Unlike our bar packages, hosting does not include physical rentals or materials — it provides what matters most: an experienced, polished professional to ensure your event flows smoothly while you relax and enjoy your guests.

*Please note: While our packages include unlimited cocktails during the service window, Host & Gather Event Co. is committed to responsible service. All bar staff are Serving It Right certified and will only serve alcohol in a safe and professional manner. We reserve the right to decline service to any guest to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone in attendance.

Host & Gather Event Co. proudly serves liquor at private events; however, in most cases, we do not sell alcohol directly.

Due to current liquor regulations in British Columbia, selling alcohol at private events requires proper licensing. With a Special Event Permit through the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB), the event host may purchase the alcohol for our team to professionally serve.

If you wish to sell alcohol at your event, this can be done through your own ticketing system, or we can manage beverage sales on your behalf.

Yes! After your complimentary phone consultation and once a deposit has been made, our owner will happily make a house call to showcase your chosen custom cocktails before your event.

• Free for clients within 20 km of Nanaimo, BC

• $2.50 per km for locations elsewhere on Vancouver Island

Prefer to skip the paperwork or don’t have a Serving It Right certificate? No problem! Host & Gather Event Co. can obtain the Special Event Permit on your behalf for a small additional fee, ensuring your event stays fully compliant and stress-free.

We’re happy to create mocktails for your event! Please note that the price of your package remains the same. Even without alcohol, mocktails still require all the ingredients, mixers, garnishes, and materials included in our packages to craft the perfect drink experience for your guests.

At Host & Gather Event Co., there’s almost nowhere we won’t go! We got our unofficial start on the Sunshine Coast, and now reside in Nanaimo, but we’re happy to bring our services wherever you need us.
